The working unit has actuating devices (21, 26, 46) for moving a milling tool and a sensing roller (54) in horizontal and vertical directions (4, 16), which are perpendicular to each other. The sensing roller senses profiles of a contour (7), which exhibits larger dimension than the tool. A sleeve (44) carries the sensing roller and mounted to rotate at a longitudinal axis with respect to an electrical spindle (39). The axis is perpendicular to the directions. Another actuating device (46) moves the sleeve at the axis and holds the tool and the sensing roller in contact with the contour. An independent claim is also included for a machine for processing of wooden boards.
