PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hot plate installation means capable of reducing by a simple means the thermal displacement of a hot plate, particularly a curvature or the like caused by the temperature difference between the upper and lower faces of the hot plate. SOLUTION: This installation apparatus for a plurality of hot plates arranged along a paper sheet conveying direction so that the long-side side intersects the paper sheet conveying direction in a double facer, installs and fixes both width direction ends of the hot plate 10 onto bases 10a, 11b so that the width direction thermal displacement of the hot plate 10 can be permitted, and erects one or more posts 16<SB>1-N</SB>for supporting the hot plate, in positions that equally divide a space between the bases so that the width direction thermal displacement of the hot plate 10 is permitted while restricting the vertical thermal displacement of the hot plate 10 by the posts.
