<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To minimize silent time for the effect associated with switching of automatic playing data and for initialization of timbre change time in an automatic playing apparatus for switching and continuously playing back a plurality of automatic playing data. <P>SOLUTION: The automatic playing apparatus includes: an instruction means for instructing switching for automatic playing data to be played back by a playback means; a conversion means for converting the time necessary for switching to a value expressed by the unit based on a beat; a calculation means for calculating second timing preceding first timing by subtracting the value expressed by the unit based on the beat from the first timing when the automatic playing data are to be switched; a switching process start means for starting a switching process corresponding to effect designation information or timbre designation information in the second timing; and a playback control means for setting the playback object by the playback means on the basis of the switching instruction by the instruction means in the first timing. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
