<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic disk burnishing device performing uniform burnish treatment over the entire surface of a magnetic disk. <P>SOLUTION: The magnetic disk burnishing device 40 performing the burnish treatment of the surface of the magnetic disk 30 by pushing a burnishing tape 24 to the surface of the rotated magnetic disk 30 includes: a rotating means for rotating the magnetic disk 30 attached to an attaching part 21; a tape traveling means 28 for traveling the burnishing tape 24 on the surface of the magnetic disk; a pressurizing means 42 for pressurizing the burnishing tape 24 by a prescribed pressurizing force to the surface of the magnetic disk; and a tape moving means for moving the burnishing tape 24 in a direction orthogonal to the traveling direction of the burnishing tape 24 to perform the burnish treatment of the entire surface of the magnetic disk. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
