PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrochemical machining device for a hole with a bottom capable of verifying a support direction of an electrode on the basis of a flow of a visualized electrolyte and determining the profile of the electrode in advance, and a method for optimizing an electrode profile for the electrochemical machining device for a hole with a bottom. SOLUTION: The electrochemical machining device for a hole with a bottom comprises a guide section 3 for supporting the electrode 2, and an adjustment section 4 for finely adjusting the supporting direction of the electrode 2. The electrode 2 has a passage 5 for passing an electrolyte along a center axis. The guide section 3 has a discharge passage 6 for discharging the electrolyte in the passage 5 of the electrode 2 to the outside of the device. The supporting direction of the electrode 2 is verified by visualizing the flow of the electrolyte by flowing a light-transmitting false workpiece 15 which is covered on the electrode 2, and also advanced determination for settlement of the profile of the electrode 2 is conducted by this way.
