PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image recording device, in which the conveying accuracy of a recording sheet of paper conveying from a feed roller to a conveying roller can be improved. SOLUTION: When recording paper P is fed with the feed roller 25 in a curved conveying passage 23 especially under the condition that the stiffness of the recording paper P is strong, the recording paper P is conveyed along a guiding surface 18 under the state that the recording paper P thrusts the guiding surface 18 of a paper guide 110. Thus, the paper guide 110 pivots counterclockwise (to the direction indicated with an arrow L in the figure) round a rotating shaft 111 so as to widen the conveying passage 23, resulting in reducing the reaction applied to the recording paper P with the paper guide 110. Accordingly, the reaction is given to the recording paper P from the paper guide 110 and, due to the reaction, the development of slippage in the feed roller 25 and the development of buckling and obliquing in the recording paper P can be reduced. As a result, the conveying accuracy of the recording paper P conveyed from the feed roller 25 to the conveying roller 60 can be improved. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
