A braking system for a vehicle is provided to control the braking of a vehicle by applying different type braking systems to a front wheel and a rear wheel. A braking system for a vehicle is composed of a pedal(10), a pedal position detecting sensor(30), a brake device(50), and a second brake device(70). The pedal position detecting sensor senses the moving distance of the pedal. The first brake device performs the braking control of a front wheel(40), and supplies the braking hydraulic pressure to a wheel cylinder of the front wheel. The second brake device performs the braking control of a rear wheel(60), and supplies the electric braking power to the rear wheel. The second brake device comprises a braking motor(73) and an electronic control unit(76). The braking motor applies the braking power the rear wheel. |
