<p>When a bead member consisting of a bead core and a bead filler is transferred, deformation of the bead filler is suppressed and the precision of its profile is enhanced. A plurality of supporting pawls (31) provided in a transfer device (20) are allowed to abut against the inside diameter portion of the bead core (51) of a bead member (50) which is thereby supported from the inner circumferential side at a plurality of points in the circumferential direction. At the same time, distal end side of a bead filler (52) is sucked and supported by a suction pad (41) coupled with each supporting pawl (31) through a coupling member (42). Under a state where each component is held in such a manner, the bead member (50) is removed from a forming device (70) and moved to a cartridge for storage before being mounted on the mounting surface of the cartridge. Thereafter, suction holding of the bead filler (52) is released and each supporting pawl (31) is separated from the inside diameter portion of the bead core (51) and then the bead member (50) is transferred onto the cartridge.</p> |
