PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the efficiency of a fan cooling-type electric engine. SOLUTION: A rotor 20, a stator 30, fans 11, 12 that supply the cooling air to the rotor and stator, and a partition 60 are provided. The partition is mounted on the rotor so as to be rotated with the rotor and is further extended between an internal fan 11 and an external fan 12, thereby isolating the respective fans into the internal fan 11 and external fan 12. The internal fan 11 is disposed between the partition and rotor to cool only the rotor, and the external fan 12 is disposed between the partition and stator to cool only the stator.
