PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To use a TG (Timing Generator) for generating a timing signal synchronizing with a given cycle based on a reference clock for an image sensor having a different specification. SOLUTION: A TG 25 inputs an output of a quartz oscillator 27 via an SSCG 26 which performs a frequency diffusion. A PLL circuit 28 multiplies the inputted clock to generate a pixel clock (pixck) having the same frequency as that of a pixel frequency. The pixel clock is supplied to a DLL circuit 29 to generate a multilayer clock obtained by dividing a cycle of the pixel clock by 60. A clock generating part 30 selects a necessary phase from the multilayer clock, thereby generating the timing signal. A phase, a pulse width, an output period and the like of the timing signal are adjusted by a register setting via a CPU I/F 34. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
