A device for cleaning tuberous roots is proposed. It consists of an inclined feed conveyer, arranged on a main frame, a cleaner as a rotary hollow truncated cone made of spring steel as a pressure spring with a certain pitch and arranged on a movable axle in such a manner as to allow rotating, a gravity separator and an unloading conveyer. In doing so the cleaner rests on a central rotary shaft which consists of two separate parts, in particular journals arranged on the frame by means of bearings. The journal of the lower part of the cleaner rests on a spherical bearing in such a manner as to allow reciprocal movement of the journal in the longitudinal plane of the cleaner together with the parts fixed thereon and is a rocker arm of a four-link lever mechanism which, in addition, comprises a piston rod and an eccentric with the varying length of a crank. |
