FIELD: manufacturing equipment for stretching presses used at forming large-size double-curvature parts in aerospace industry branches, possibly in ship-building and other branches of industry. SUBSTANCE: method comprises steps of preliminarily mounting part of bearing system in order to provide lodgements for preliminarily mounting envelope; then realizing parallel operation of pair of crosspieces with stops by action of number program control system for high accurate mounting of envelope - working surface.
