<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a golf club head which can provide a higher backspin amount while conforming to the area rule. <P>SOLUTION: The golf club head includes a plurality of score lines formed on the face, wherein each score line includes a pair of side surfaces and a bottom portion having a protruding portion protruding to the face side. An angle between the side surface and the face is≥60°.
