The dashboard (1) has a plastic extension part (2) i.e. holder, fastened to the dashboard for improving security of a front seat passenger during an accident. A maximum extension of the dashboard is extended in horizontal direction towards the front seat passenger by the extension part. A flexible and/or plastic characteristics of the extension part deviates less than 10 percent of flexible and/or plastic characteristics of remaining dashboard (6) to which the extension part is fastened. Width of the extension part is larger than 30 centimeter.
