The invention relates to a throttle flap connecting piece having a housing 1 in which is formed a continuous passage opening 2 which can be closed off by a throttle flap 3, of round cross section, which is arranged on a throttle flap shaft 4. Here, the throttle flap shaft 4 is mounted with its lateral ends 5 in bearing recesses 6 of the housing 1 so as to be pivotable about a rotational axis 7. In addition, a flattening 8 is provided which is formed on the throttle flap shaft 4 in the longitudinal extent of the throttle flap shaft 4 and on which the throttle flap 3 is supported and is connected to the throttle flap shaft 4. The radially encircling edge 18 of the throttle flap 3 is of ring-shaped design and has a reduced thickness 20 in relation to the thickness 19 of the throttle flap. Here, the two annular sides, which are situated opposite from one another, of the radially encircling annular edge 18 of the throttle flap extend symmetrically with respect to a radial line, which intersects the rotational axis 7, of the throttle flap shaft 4. |
