A united route query method in the automatic switched optical network includes: after the router controller RC in each routing domain receiving a route query request, a route algorithm is invoked based on the route query request, and the route calculation is performed based on the route database of the current node; if the route calculation succeeds, a route query result is returned to the requester; if a complete route is not obtained, the route query request would be transferred to RC in the parent domain; based on the route query request, RC in the parent domain finishes the route query through the interaction between RC in the parent domain and RCs in other domains of the same layer and between each RC in the parent domain and RCs in the child domains contained by each RC in the parent domain, and calculates to obtain a complete route; then the route query result is returned to the requesting RC, and the RC returns the route query result to the requester. The method according to the invention performs the route query work that can't be done by the ASON net element in the current domain through the RC interaction among the routing domains in the same layer or in the different layers, thereby the advantages of succinctness and trustiness are provided. |
