Disclosed is the use of an isolated bacteriophage-derived protein for the manufacture of a medicament for the treatment of a proliferative disease or disorder, wherein the bacteriophage- derived protein induces a cell growth inhibitory activity or cell killing effect in eukaryotic cells.
