The device has a diagnosing unit (4) for diagnosing an electric supply anomaly, where the diagnosing unit receives a comparison between measure value at given instant and state representative of an actuator (6) at the given instant, from a logic controller (11) with a theoretical state value of the actuator. The diagnosing unit is associated to cutting unit (5) for cutting an electric supply to the actuator, in case of anomaly between the measure and the theoretical state value. An independent claim is also included for an actuator controlling device comprising a protecting device.
