PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stirring tool washing apparatus for a cup-type vending machine, which surely and quickly washes away remaining beverage stuck to a stirring tool and saving the quantity of hot water required for washing. SOLUTION: The apparatus for washing the stirring tool 28 of the cup-type vending machine 100 is provided with a jetting means 32 for jetting pressurized hot water like mists to the stirring tool 28. The jetting means 32 is supplied with pressurized hot water from a pressurizing pump 38 which pressurizes hot water stored in a hot water tank 34 and supplies the pressurized hot water to an espresso coffee brewer 16c.
