<p>The present invention provides adapting an audio frequency range to a linear vibrator (110, 206). This may be achieved by detecting presence of signal components (step 304) in a first audio frequency range. A control signal may then be provided (step 306) in response to the detected first signal components. A second signal component in a second frequency range may moreover be obtained (step 308) and controlled (step 310) in response to the amplitude of the control signal, wherein the second frequency range is narrower than the first audio frequency range. Feeding of the controlled second signal component (step 312) to the linear vibrator (110, 206) causing vibrations of the linear vibrator (110, 206) is thus enabled, creating an increased experience of the music when applied to rhythm-based music within a portable communication device (200) such as a mobile phone (200).</p> |
