The present invention relates to a device for braking and coupling with non-contact force transmission, comprising a rotary drum (100) and a holding drum (200). The rotary drum is attached to a rotary drum shaft (105). The holding drum is provided with driver elements and longitudinally displaceable on a holding drum shaft (205). The rotary drum is provided with inner rotary drum rings (103), and the holding drum is provided with inner holding drum rings (203), which each are provided on both sides with diametrically magnetized bar magnets (10), which after inserting the holding drum in the rotary drum in the direction of the first arrow (1) are disposed polarly opposite each other, separated by air gaps (215), and exert attracting forces on each other. In this way, it is possible, for example, to decelerate an impeller (30) of a motor vehicle, said impeller being connected to the rotary drum, in a controlled and non-contact fashion. |
