INK FOR COLOR FILTER, METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING COLOR FILTER, COLOR FILTER, IMAGE DISPLAY DEVICE, AND ELECTRONIC EQUIPMENT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink for a color filter for an inkjet system, the ink excellent in ejection stability and suitably used for manufacturing a color filter having suppressed color irregularity and density irregularity in each portion and showing excellent uniformity of characteristics in individual products.

SOLUTION: The ink for a color filter contains a colorant, a liquid medium and a resin material. An ejection portion of a liquid drop ejection device has a nozzle plate provided with a nozzle. When the nozzle plate is immersed in the ink for a color filter at 60°C for 7 days, the ink shows an advancing contact angle of 55 to 90° and a receding contact angle of 15 to 40° with respect to the outer surface of the nozzle plate.
