METHOD FOR PRODUCING PEPTIDE LIBRARIES AND USE THEREOF

Screening of peptide libraries in various assays offers the possibility of simultaneously examining intracellular signal pathways, producing reagents for a better understanding of the pathway and for producing novel forms of therapy. Many, if not all, of the biologically active peptides (e.g. peptide hormones) have a great effect on health and on illnesses, either in growth-promoting rolls, growth-inhibiting rolls or by controlling the critical metabolic pathway. The invention relates to novel bioactive peptides, to an in silicio method for identifying said peptides and to a peptide library containing said peptides.
