The method involves determining reflection or transmission behavior of a sample (3) arranged in a sample support (4) by a sensor arrangement (6), an impedance-controlled transverse electromagnetic wave structure and a sample support. A measuring signal with a defined frequency is fed over a test prod, and a modulated measuring signal is measured and evaluated. Independent claims are included for the following: (1) a device for execution of a method for measurement of impedances of biological samples; and (2) a testing unit for measurement of impedances of biological samples.
