PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery retention structure capable of preventing the occurrence of contact failure by preventing plastic deformation of a first connection terminal at the time of addition of excessive external force. SOLUTION: The battery retention structure is provided with a stopper rib 12e regulating axis-direction displacement in which a first connection terminal 34 is elastically deformed by a button battery 5 at a position before that 34 reaches a plastic deformation region.
