A karaoke system having a speaker mode and a method providing the speaker mode thereof are provided to optimize accompaniment for music of a karaoke and voice through a microphone by compensating for speaker sound to optimize speaker performance. A karaoke system having a speaker mode comprises: an accompaniment player(100) providing a speaker mode for outputting sound fitting for speaker characteristic; a digital amplifier(200) having a filter generating program inside and producing and storing an acoustic filter improving each speaker sound through a filter generating program and loading the acoustic filter of a speaker selected in the speaker through user interface by operating with the accompaniment player; and a speaker(400) being connected to the digital amplifier and outputting the improved sound according to the loaded acoustic filter.
