PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical glass for glass imprinting in which, while Bi<SB>2</SB>O<SB>3</SB>is contained as a component, white turbidity does not arise in a glass surface, and there is no adhesion of a glass volatilization constitution to a mold, and which has a low deformation temperature, an index of refraction of a wide range, and a high refractive index. SOLUTION: In a three-element system component composition diagram in which 100 mol% of P<SB>2</SB>O<SB>5</SB>, 100 mol% of ZnO, and 100 mol% of Bi<SB>2</SB>O<SB>3</SB>are the vertexes of a regular triangle respectively, the optical glass for glass imprint is characterized in that the three above components are in a range surrounded by a line which connects seven points of the following A-G. (P<SB>2</SB>O<SB>5</SB>, ZnO, Bi<SB>2</SB>O<SB>3</SB>): A point (66 mol%, 34 mol%, 0 mol%), B point (39 mol%, 61 mol%, 0 mol%), C point (44 mol%, 44 mol%, 12 mol%), D point (50 mol%, 34 mol%, 16 mol%), E point (58 mol%, 21 mol%, 21 mol%), F point (63 mol%, 6 mol%, 31 mol%), and G point (69 mol%, 0 mol%, 31 mol%).
