PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light emitting unit and a fluid jetting apparatus which can prevent output of light from decreasing and can be fully arranged in a limited space without using a complicate configuration. SOLUTION: The light emitting unit set in the fluid jetting apparatus which jets towards a medium a fluid that includes a material cured when receiving irradiation of a predetermined light, is equipped with a substrate, a light emitting element which is set on the substrate and ejects the predetermined light from a light ejecting part, a first protecting layer prepared to at least cover the light ejecting part and formed of a first material that passes the predetermined light, and a second protecting layer prepared exchangeably on the first protecting layer and formed of a second material that passes the predetermined light.
