PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radio communication system for eliminating defects in TDD radio communication which is inefficient in long distance communication, and preventing a coverage from being deteriorated due to propagation loss. SOLUTION: This radio communication system is equipped with a mobile station, and a base station to perform TDD (Time Division Duplex) radio communication TS-1 - N at a first frequency and perform FDD (Frequency Division Duplex)radio communication TSU-1 - N at a second frequency different from the first frequency, between the base station and the mobile station.
