PURPOSE:To reduce the generation of erosion and/or corrosion of a header tube wall by mounting the exit side end of a cooling pipe on the same lamination layer surface against the refrigent outflow direction of an exit header at a preset angle. CONSTITUTION:A fuel cell laminating body is formed by stacking a number of unit cells 1 made of an electrolyte layer 1a, fuel electrode 1b, and oxidizing agent electrode 1c. In addition, a number of cooling pipes 5 are provided on the same lamination layer surface and refrigent is circulated through inlet and outlet refrigent pipes 3 and 7 and inlet and outlet headers 4 and 6 to cool the body. In this case, at least one exit side end of each of cooling pipes 5a to 5c is mounted on the exit header 6 at an angle exceeding zero degree and not exceeding 90 degrees against the refrigent outflow direction of the header 6. As a result, the force in which the drop of the saturated water contained in vapor collides against the inner wall of the header 6 can be reduced and the damage caused by the generation of erosion and corrosion can be prevented. |
