The prosthesis has an implant (30) comprising an abutment retainer (32) for insertion into a jaw bone, and an abutment (10) attached to the implant. An abutment screw (1) is provided for screw connection of the abutment with the implant, and a central screw channel (12) is arranged in the abutment. The screw has a screw head (14) with a tool holder (16), and a gripping section (20) e.g. inner thread, for an auxiliary tool e.g. threaded rod, is formed in the tool holder. A stepped profile is formed at a lower side of the screw thread and engaged to a counter profile at the abutment. An independent claim is also included for a method for detaching an abutment screw from an implant of a dental prosthesis.
