The bulk type silicon solar cell and manufacturing method thereof are provided to improve the stability for temperature and to achieve the reliability of the high quality. The bulk type silicon solar cell comprises the semiconductor layer having doping concentration gradient; the active layer formed on the semiconductor layer; the semiconductor layer. The low concentration becomes the high concentration based on the interlayer junction surface. The semiconductor layer includes a plurality of semiconductor layers having various doping concentration. The reliability of device can be improved.
