<p>A tape dispenser (40) for precisely applying decorative tape (12) for creating the appearance of a bevel onto a glass surface. The tape dispenser (40) includes a frame (46), a tape spool (48) rotatably mounted to the frame (46), a drive roller (50) rotatably mounted to said frame (46) for controlling a length of such tape (12) unwound from said tape spool (48), a platen (52) having an angular front end portion (54) that causes a liner (14) to separate from the tape (12), and a rewind spool (56) rotatably mounted to the frame (46). The tape spool (48), drive roller (50), platen (52) and rewind spool (56) define a path of travel from the tape spool (48), around the drive roller (50), around the front end portion of said platen (54), to said rewind spool (56).</p> |
