PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve a simple-structured mechanism for moving an apparatus housing tray.

SOLUTION: A portable-electronic-apparatus housing device 10 is configured so that the apparatus housing tray 18 having a loading portion (a bottom plate 18a) to place a portable electronic apparatus 1 thereon and reciprocating between an insertion/removal position with the loading portion protruded ahead of an interior casing 13 constituting a part of a casing 11 and a storage position for storing the loading portion into the interior casing 13 can be manually pivoted between the insertion/removal position and the storage position around a shaft 16 standing in the vicinity of one end on the side of a front face 13f in the interior casing 13.
