A clinical guide wire includes: a core made from an elastic material such that the tip section has a diameter smaller than that of the main section; a resin tube which covers at least part of the tip section of the core; and a hydrophilic resin film which covers the outer periphery of the resin tube. In the construction described above, the outer diameter of the portion covered with the resin tube and the hydrophilic resin film is smaller than the product outer diameter in the main section of the core. <IMAGE> |
