<p>A transaxle comprises a pair of output shafts (5L,5R), a differential unit (44) and a casing (87,88). The output shafts are connected to a pair of wheels, respectively. The differential unit (44) differentially connects both of the output shafts to each other. The casing incorporates the differential unit and both of the output shafts. The casing is configured by joining a pair of substantially identical right (88) and left (87) casing halves in a state where one casing half is disposed to correspond to the other casing half which is inverted laterally and vertically. Each of the joined casing halves journals each of the output shafts. Each of the right and left casing halves is formed on an outside thereof with an attachment portion adapted to have a motor (21) for driving the differential unit attached thereon.</p> |
