The telephone (1) has an assembled software block (6) stored in a memory. The software block has a firmware (2) with a part of a code that realizes functionality. An installer and a loader are arranged for loading top software layers in the telephone, where the layers have a middleware i.e. call manager, and applications. A launcher and a proxy execute the layers subsequently at their loading by the installer and the loader to realize the functionality. The installer and the loader load the layers from a removable memory e.g. subscriber identity module (SIM) card, towards the memory. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a system comprising a mobile telephone (2) a method for executing top software layers on a mobile telephone (3) a method for manufacturing a mobile telephone. |
