摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a charge/discharge method causing no deterioration of cycle characteristics by suppressing peeling off, sliding down of a negative electrode layer in a lithium ion secondary battery in charge/discharge, and the initial adjusting method of the lithium ion secondary battery before use in order to enhance the cycle characteristics. <P>SOLUTION: In the charge/discharge method of the lithium ion secondary battery including a negative electrode body having a negative current collector and a negative electrode layer made of an element capable of alloying with lithium, a positive electrode body having a positive current collector and a positive electrode layer, a separator interposed between the negative electrode layer and the positive electrode layer, and a nonaqueous electrolyte containing a lithium salt, frequency in generation of breakage in the negative electrode layer to the discharge capacity is analyzed by a breakage analyzing method, a range of the stage of discharge is prescribed in less than 100% based on the analyzed result, and charge discharge is conducted within the range. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
