<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic ticket gate equipped with a scissors type door at a ticket examination passage for detecting the passing direction of a passerby who passes a ticket examination passage by an inexpensive sensor device with a saved space. <P>SOLUTION: This automatic ticket gate 10 is provided with: a pair of door storage casing parts 18 and 23 forming a ticket examination passage 11; scissors type doors 17 and 22 for closing or opening the ticket examination passage; a control part 41 for controlling the protruding or retreating operations of the scissors type door; and a detection device for detecting a passerby who passes the ticket examination passage, and for transmitting a detection signal to the control part. The detection device is configured of one-dimensional laser ranging sensor 31 mounted on one door storage casing part side between the pair of door storage casing parts; and a reflecting mirror 32 mounted on the other door storage casing part side. The optical path of a laser beam created when a laser beam output from the one-dimensional laser ranging sensor is reflected on the reflecting mirror is created at the both sides so as to cross an arrangement plane where the scissors type door is arranged. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
