<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liner for adhesive tape which has excellent size stability, can be colored and is inexpensive, wherein defects are the conventional release paper and polyester release film are eliminated, and to provide a method of using the liner. <P>SOLUTION: The liner includes: a uniaxially stretched film consisting of at least two layers formed by extruding simultaneously each other; a core layer made of polypropylene; a simultaneously extrusion-molded layer; and, according to circumstances, another layer, wherein a release cover layer is applied on a surface outside the simultaneously extrusion-molded layer.
