<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the possibility of printing being canceled while preventing the printing on the paper which is not chosen by user from being performed in a printing device. <P>SOLUTION: The printing device for printing a print image expressed by printing data on a printing medium is equipped with a receiving means for receiving the printing data and printing parameters from a controller, an extraction means for extracting the first medium parameter designating the details of the attribute of the printing medium used from the printing parameter while extracting the second medium parameter designating the details of the attribute from the printing data, and a detection means for detecting a prohibition instruction for directing the prohibition of using those other than the printing medium corresponding to the details of the attribute designated by the first- or the second-medium parameter are detected from the printing parameter. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
