PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable television broadcasting receiver capable of optimizing TV channel setting by automatically setting an optimal relay station, and thus achieving excellent television reception. SOLUTION: The portable television broadcasting receiver is characterized by including: television broadcasting receiving means 1, 2, 3, 7, 8; GPS positioning means 5, 6; and a control means for controlling the television broadcasting receiving means 4 based on current position data positioned by the GPS positioning means.
