PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic analyzer capable of monitoring the condition of analyzer, preventing generation of measurement error before happens and identifying the causing site, and shortening the investigating and addressing time. SOLUTION: The automatic analyzer comprises a sample dispensing mechanism dispensing a sample to a reaction vessel 101; a reagent dispensing mechanism 104 dispensing a reagent to the reaction vessel dispensed for the sample; an absorptiometer 117 measuring an absorbance after stirring a reaction liquid in the reaction vessel by stirring mechanisms 103, 111; and a cleaning means cleaning respectively the units of the sample dispensing mechanism, the reagent dispensing mechanism, and the stirring mechanisms; and has a means of cleaning by one or more units of the cleaning means and confirming the cleaning result of the units.
