The device has a cartridge (10) made of a tubular container (11) and an outlet connection (14) that projects from a front wall (12) of the container. A container base is movable relative to the front wall and is provided for squeezing the mass. An application nozzle (25) has a re-closable closure device with a spigot and a hood (27), where the hood is movable relative to the spigot and includes a closure opening. The closure device is an adjustable dosage cap with a variable passage cross section. The hood is fixedly attached to the nozzle between closing and opening positions.
