<p>The handles (3, 4) have two joints (5, 6) provided at a plier housing (2) of a plier (1) for adjusting a part of the handles or the handles in a rest position relative to the housing. Each joint has a cylinder which passes through ends of the handles, where the ends are turned towards a borehole in the housing. Bars project out from a covering external surface of the cylinder, where the bars are insertable into slots in an inner side of the borehole and are designed as screw. A hand lever and a molded recess are provided in the handles.</p>
