A waterproof method of a cellular phone and a structure thereof are provided to realize a substantial waterproof function by using sealing regardless of a structural defective factor of a shell, thereby preventing an internal circuit configuration of the cellular phone from being damaged by permeated water. A metal-made shell(12) and a contact terminal(13) are assembled on front and rear sides of a housing to configure a connector assembly(1). The connector assembly is coupled with a PCB. The shell is equipped with one pair of suspending holes on an upper side. An upper part of a front side of the contact terminal is supported by supporting projections(11B) formed on the housing. A sealing housing(2) for blocking the outside is equipped over an entire outer side of the connector assembly. A seal is disposed between the sealing housing and upper and lower cases.
