PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for adjusting the correction of color temperature that keeps the brightness of a signal level of intermediate gradation from being reduced by the correction of an ideal brightness value at a color temperature correction apparatus, and a display device therewith. SOLUTION: The apparatus for adjusting the correction of color temperature adjusts the correction of the color temperature of a video signal for a display device that expresses the brightness of the RGB of a video signal in a plurality of gradations. The apparatus includes an average signal level detection unit that outputs an average signal level based on an input signal, and a gain factor calculation means for calculating a gain factor based on the average signal level.
