PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a symptom inference device that can infer a physiological symptom that gives uncomfortable feeling to a driver in a prior stage that leads to a dangerous driving state or the like. SOLUTION: The symptom inference device has an image pickup device, a face data generation means, and an inference means. The image pickup device captures images in the direction of the driver seat from the front of the driver seat. The face data generation means detects the state of the driver's face using the images captured by the image pickup device and generates face data that show the state of the face. The inference device presumes the physiological symptom which gives uncomfortable feeling to the driver in a prior stage that leads to a dangerous driving state or the like.
