PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve strength of an absorber connecting surface part of a body to which an upper end part of a shock absorber constituting a suspension is connected. SOLUTION: A body structure of a vehicle is constituted so that an opening 12h is formed on a panel 12 constituting the body, the opening 12h is closed from below by a bracket 20 thickness dimensions of which are larger than those of the panel 12, the first absorber connecting surface part 24 is formed on an exposed part of the bracket 20 exposed upward from the opening 12h, an upper surface of the first absorber connecting surface part 24 is covered by the second absorber connecting surface part 34 provided on a plate 30 thickness dimensions of which are larger than those of the panel, the absorber connecting surface part of the body is constituted as both of the first absorber connecting surface parts 24, 34 are performed spot welding, and the thickness dimensions of the bracket 20 and the plate 30 are set to be the maximum dimensions free to perform spot welding of the first absorber connecting surface part 24 and the second absorber connecting surface part 34.
