<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce costs generated when a means to detect opening/closing of a display is provided separately and to improve the reliability, by enabling detection of a person and detection of the opening/closing state of the display by a means to detect the presence of a person using a laptop personal computer. <P>SOLUTION: A display part opening/closing detection device comprises a device body, a display part provided to the device body in openable/closable manner, an optical sensor which is provided to the display part, can detect a person and can rotate, and a detection means to determine opening/closing of the display part using the optical sensor. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
